Fake Hotels is composed of members of Le Tour and Mannequin Men. This was a relatively short-lived project and was retired before we ever had our first gig due to other commitments. However, I'm incredibly proud of this music and I'm very excited to share it. We had about 7-8 songs by our final rehearsal, only two of which were ever recorded. I would give anything for recordings of some of those other songs with all of us playing but, hey, you can't always get what you want. I think you can tell that we had something good here even in these simple recordings that Kevin made at our first ever rehearsal.

"Bangs In Heat" was Kevin's song. I loved it and we were able to learn it completely within two attempts. This was the first Fake Hotels song and probably the third time we ever played it.

"Tall Mountain" was mine (Patrick's) song. It kinda' sounds like Television in hindsight although I don't think I was even aware of them at the time that we first played it. This one made the cut and is still rotated in Le Tour's sets today. You can tell I was a pretty heavy smoker back then too. haha
